NUT ALLERGY POLICY
WE HAVE STAFF AND CUSTOMERS WHO ARE EXTREMELY AND DANGEROUSLY ALLERGIC TO PEANUTS AND TREE NUTS.

Abby's Attic is a NUT-FREE facility. Do not bring peanut butter, peanuts, tree nuts including but not limited to : cashews, pecans, walnuts, or anything containing nuts or peanuts into the studios.

Hair
Students must have long hair pulled back away from the face while creating, sewing or embroidering.



Shoes
Students must wear comfortable covered shoes. Open toed shoes are not allowed. Students should be dressed comfortably and ready to sew. Shoes must be comfortable and light for touching the foot pedal of the sewing machine. Thick soles, heavy boots, and clogs are not recommended. A student wearing open toed shoes will not be allowed to participate until they are attired in the recommended footwear.



Food & Beverages
A large amount of time is spent working on projects in the studio. With this in mind, food, candy and chewing gum are not permitted at the same tables as the sewing machines. Water bottles with secure lids may be kept near students at their work stations. Other drinks such as sodas or sports drinks may not be kept near machines.

BEHAVIOR POLICY

Behavioral Dismissal

If a child is behaving in a manner that threatens their safety or the safety of other students, or impedes our teachers ability to instruct and care for the rest of the group, Abby's Attic LLC reserves the right to call the guardian and dismiss that child from class.

If the same behavioral issue occurs twice, we reserve the right to terminate that child's registration for the remainder of the session or season. In some cases, children can be banned from future classes or events in our studio, paid or free. 

In all of these cases refunds will not be given.

Abby's Attic Sewing & Crafting Studio shall not be held at fault for any accident that may occur to any student while attending classes. Please understand that, due to the nature of the work being done in the Studio, there are inherently dangerous items therein (scissors, needles, pins, seam rippers, sewing machines with moving parts, rotary cutters, sharp corners, etc.). Please also know that the sewing instructors will do their very best to prevent accidents from happening. Abby's Attic Sewing & Crafting Studio, nor its owner, Jennifer Nicolella, nor any of its employees, representatives or agents, will be liable for injury or damages of any sort.


Parents who register their minor children give implied consent for us to use their images in promotional emails, social media and on television. Parents who do not wish their children's images to be shared in these ways must email abbys.attic@yahoo.com.
