Howdy! I'm Jen. I've been sewing for over 25 years. I'm trained as a chemist and a high school math teacher, but my absolute passion is sewing! I love to combine my teaching experience with my love of all things sewing and crafting, plus throw in some mad nerd skills when I can. My favorite part of teaching people how to sew is seeing the satisfaction and smiles on their faces when they declare, "I did this!" On my free time (hah!) I enjoy camping, reading and, of course, sewing.
Hannah is a recent graduate from The University of the Incarnate Word, having majored in Fashion Design. She started sewing as a senior in high school through her theatre department working in costuming. She has now been sewing for roughly four years and she is excited to be a part of Abby's Attic!
Lisa teaches quilting classes, kids classes, and Sewing 101 for Abby's Attic since October 2020. She is also a high school science teacher at Texas Military Institute, but has been teaching science since 2000. Mrs. Tobias was named Teacher of the Year in 2017-2018 while she worked at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic School. In her free time she loves to sew quilts and clothing, and lets her pets hang out at her feet while she sits at her sewing machine.
Hello! I’m Carla! I'm a full-time Senior fashion design student at The University of the Incarnate Word. My favorite color is purple. I'm excited to learn and grow here at Abby’s Attic. Being surrounded by others who share my love for sewing makes this journey even more exciting.

Andrea comes from a family of seamstresses and has helped others learn to sew since she was in the 3rd grade. She grew up in Nebraska creating clothing for sewing competitions with 4-H and Make it Yourself with Wool. Andrea has a Business degree and over 10 years of work experience in non-profit fundraising. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband David and finding squirrels with her puppy Peanut.
Hi, my name is McKenna! I am a full-time student at The University of the Incarnate Word, majoring in both fashion design and apparel product development. I love to spend time outside with my dog, Saylor! I am beyond excited to help people further their love of sewing!
