Bring your own machine or use ours!
The three classes will cover the following:
Sewing 101 - The Basics: This is everything you need to get started with your machine. You will make a cord keeper as part of the class.
Sewing 101 - Part 2: You will learn about basic patterns; structure and types of fabrics; types of needles, sewing a button hole, and sewing on a button. You will make an envelope bag as part of the class.
Sewing 101 - Part 3: You will learn how to sew a zipper, troubleshoot your common sewing problems, and how & when to set the tension on your sewing machine. You will make a square-bottom zipper pouch as part of this class.
Price of class includes fabric for your creation, thread and tools available in studio for your use.

Whether you are new to garment sewing or a tried and true veteran, there is a class for you. There are four levels of classes, with increasing difficulty and complexity designed to enhance and build your garment sewing skills.
Sewing machine experience is required before you take these classes. If you need to learn how to use a machine, please take Sewing 101 before you join Sew and Steady.
